A Wall Street mega-millionaire wants to buy a tax break for himself and his billionaire CEO buddies—and his scheme will be on the ballot this fall as ballot initiatives. If the super-rich get their way, we’ll lose billions of dollars for schools, childcare, jobs, and healthy home repairs.
NO thanks. Billionaires can pay their own taxes.
This fall, we’re coming together to protect our schools and kids. Here’s what’s happening:
What’s on my ballot?
King County mega-millionaires want a tax break on their enormous Wall St. profits. Their scheme would kill 80+ jobs in Grays Harbor & Pacific County, 10,200 jobs in WA, and steal $2.2 billion from schools and childcare programs across the state.
Vote NO to protect our schools and kids, jobs, and to make sure the super-wealthy pay their fair share.
Massive corporations want to increase their profits while they poison our air & water. If they get their way, we’ll lose billions for free rural bus service, affordable heat pumps, home improvements to reduce mold and energy bills, and good jobs rebuilding our community.
Vote NO to protect good jobs & healthy lands, waters and homes.
People sick with cancer or other serious illnesses depend on public long-term care insurance to live. If that program is destroyed, millions of working people will be at the mercy of for-profit insurance CEOs who charge outrageous prices for the care we need.
Vote NO to protect public insurance.
Who’s behind the scheme to give the super-rich a tax break, stealing money from schools and kids?
Wall Street mega-millionaire Brian Heywood moved from California to King County and spent $6 million to put these initiatives on the ballot. He wants a tax break for himself and his super-rich buddies.
We won’t let him get away with it. Vote NO.
