It’s Time to Rebuild Timber Country

We are rural working people joining together to win the future we deserve.

It can feel like Washington is turning into a place where only wealthy people can afford to live. The rest of us wonder how we’ll pay rent, afford medications, and feed our families.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. We know that if we come together and make our voices heard, we can have a future where we live in healthy and affordable homes, where we send our kids to fully-funded public schools, where all of us can access quality medical care, and where we enjoy abundant dignified family-wage jobs caring for our people, lands, and waters.

From farmland to timber country, rural WA is at a crossroads.

Our Vision

Although we live in one of the most prosperous parts of the world, for many of us in rural WA, it’s just getting harder to get by.

We have a choice: either we keep just getting by, putting out a new fire every day, or we can come together to organize for the good jobs, housing, healthcare, childcare, healthy lands, and dignity we all need and deserve.

Who We Are

We are mill workers, nurses, cannery workers, loggers, childcare providers, grocery workers, cooks, home health aides, parents and students. We are renters, homeowners, and mobile homeowners.

You + Firelands

If we come together and make our voices heard, we can Rebuild Timber Country and win a better life for all in rural WA . Are you in?
